Ina Mae (Huffman) Inman of Plainwell, MI passed away Monday, March 8, 2010, at home with her children at her side. Mrs. Inman was born February 4, 1931 in Paragould, Arkansas to William and Sadie (Cameron) Huffman. For many years Mae worked at the Wash Well in Plainwell. Mae helped each and every person as they spoke their troubles to her. She was always eager to get to work to find out how others were doing. She enjoyed woodworking and ceramics, watching Otsego basketball, watching wrestling on Monday nights and attending craft shows. Surviving are her children, Shelby Crawford, Shirley (Garry) Augustine and Jerry Dortch; her grandchildren, Angel (Jason) Scott, John Latta, Sara (Dan) Djerf, Tina (Paul) Johnson, Garry (Angela) Augustine II, Chloe Shreve and Asa Lakeman; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Arthur (Dorthea) Huffman, Don (Tina) Huffman and Larry (Alice) Huffman; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Elvis Huffman. The family will receive friends from 10 AM Thursday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M., with Theron Crawford officiating.
