    John and Tal,

I cannot find the words to say what an impact your Mom made on my life. I can smile at the times John and I had hanging out and trying to put one over on her….we always got caught. She was one in a billion, she will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  6. Danene (Shumaker) Gless says:

    Tal & Johnny,

You know you two are like brothers to me. I’m just so stunned… it’s hard to put words to this. I love your Mom like she was my own. Not 2nd Division, Harts nor Plainwell will be the same without her!

Why did I love your Mom so much? Because she was a great lady…strong, smart, opinionated, funny, devoted mother and friend, always willing to lend a hand! She might have scared the poop out of me as a little kid, but somehow I always figured her bark was worse than her bite! (It was Shawna I was really worried about) I am so very sorry for your (and our) loss! My prayers continue to be with you. I love you guys!
