 Janice Riley of Grand Junction, MI passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 in Kalamazoo. Janice was born July 28, 1943 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Donald and Eva (Carpenter) Churchill. She was employed at Kal-Equip for over 20 years. Janice enjoyed raising exotic birds, making jelly, leather crafts, painting, knitting, crocheting and barrel racing with her horses. On July 23, 1988 she married Leonard Riley who survives. Also surviving are children, Tony (Byllie) Riley of Plainwell, Sherri Riley of Gobles, Darlene Riley of Galesburg, Lee Carter of Lansing and Jeffery Van Carter of Gobles; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sibling, Ralph Churchill and her biological mother, Arlie of Sturgis. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may meet with her family for a casual visitation from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M Monday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego. Cremation will follow. Contributions in memory of Janice may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
