    God saw Cliff getting tired and a cure was not to be so HE put his arms around him and said my son come home with me. What a wonderful person he sent us and now he has gone home. Remember all the great memories we all have with Cliff while he was here and keep them in your hearts and Norma and kids please know that cliff has so many friends out here, some you may never have met. I just want all to know that he was a LIFE TIME MEMBER of the Allegan Draft Horse and Mule Club. To The Shipley Family,

    I am sorry for your lost may God be with all of you. Here is a card I got to share with you.
    SAFELYHOME

    I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
    Oh, so happy and so bright!
    There is perfect joy and beauty
    In this everlasting light.

    All the pain and grief is over,
    Every restless tossing passed;
    I am now at peace forever,
    Safely home in Heaven at last.

    Did you wonder I so calmly
    Trod the valley of the shade?
    Oh! but Jesus’ love illumined
    Every dark and fearful glade.

    And He came Himself to meet me
    In that way so hard to tread;
    And with Jesus’ arm to lean on,
    Could I have one doubt or dread?

    Then you must not grieve so sorely,
    For I love you dearly still:
    Try to look beyond earth’s shadows,
    Pray to trust our Father’s Will.

    There is work still waiting for you,
    So you must not idly stand;
    Do it now, while life remaineth-
    You shall rest in Jesus’ land.

    When that work is all completed,
    He will gently call you Home;
    Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
    Oh, the joy to see you come!

    Sandy Lockett and Family

    Norma and family. So sorry to hear of Cliff’s passing. What good times we remember my Mom and Dad having with you guys and Cliff’s parents. I always relied on George or Cliff to keep me informed of the perfect grain mixtures to order from the feed mill for our horses. Mixtures such as 1 T salt mixed with 1/2 bushel spelts and ground oats or something similar. Memories build a special bridge when loved ones have to part. We have so many great memories having to do with you and the Shipley family. May you find comfort in knowing memories last forever.
