My family sends a heartfelt message of sympathy to the Garton family. My niece and nephew, Katie and Chris, lost an uncle that they will always regard with respect and honor. As a Vietnam Veteran, Doug sacrificed years of his life serving his country in a horrific war. My brother lost a brother in law and a friend who shared laughs, movies and dinners. My sister in law, Claudette, and her sisters lost their only brother whom they surrounded with love. May all of you find peace and support as you grieve for Doug.
    Sending love,
    Marcia, Joe, Hannah, and Emma
