Our prayers and thought for Agnes family especially Erica knowing how close they were. Agnes walk with us like an angel and now she’s one of the saint in heaven looking and interceeding for us. Spring came early as a sign that heaven is waiting for a saint to get to the pearly doors. As an immigrant trying to learn the ways of my new world, Agnes was a great comfort. She will be missed but she’s home now and have shared so much love with us. God bless you Agnes.

    Dearest Great-Aunt Agnes and Erica:

It’s hard to understand why those we love and respect are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing we were a special part of such a well-lived life. When the Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. We are all so blessed to have had you, Aunt Agnes and all the Hamey’s as our family. We all love and miss you so much, and take care of all who went before you!

Erica, Aunt Agnes was so proud of you, you are an extension of your grandma she will never be far away. Look into your heart, open your mind and you will feel her presence and hear her words for she will continue to guide, comfort and care for you until we all see her again.

All our love and continued prayers.
    Judy, Amber and Stacey

  13. Janis Nichols says:

Mrs Hadden watched us carefully. She taught us how to respect property, rules, and people. She was creative and organized. If my brothers, sisters, friends, and I got rambunctious playing “Hide and Seek” inside the Library; she would gently remind us of the rules with a twinkle in her eye (she knew we were just trying to escape the heat of the summer day).

After my Mother died, Mrs Hadden stepped-up to help guide my little sisters; as did all the Women of St Margaret’s Catholic Church. I remember my sister, Joyce, being very involved in assisting with the Library Programs. My sister, Cathy, learned all the ins and outs of being a Librarian and runs her own library/resource rooms in the Phoenix School District.

I thank God for using Mrs. Hadden so wisely. She had an impact on so many at the Otsego Public Library!
